I am Victor. Royal magician at the service of King Kendell.
One year ago I had an encounter with who I refer to as the Dream Catcher.
They gave me a show of their powers, manipulating reality to allow for all of the most impressive things.
Things I previously thought impossible.
They promised me I could achieve power just like it, all I had to do was believe in all the powers of a dream.
All of them. Dreams of hope, despair, love, hatred, creativity, dullness, life, and death.
Only after that may I follow in the Dream Catcher's footsteps, maybe even surpass them.
They granted me one ability, to traverse the dream world, see into the dreams of every other person, at the cost of me losing my own ability to dream. The dream world is no longer what I make of it, but what others want me to be in their dreams.
After all of the things I've witnessed and done, I figured it would be best to record my findings in a journal, which I just now have finally gotten around to writing.
When I pass on, I request my journal either be passed down to my future son/daughter, or that it be released to the public via the library. It depends on whether or not my child wants to carry this legacy on. They will have a choice and I will forever be proud of them.
Entries will not be dated, but I will try to keep them in chronological order
